We are in a new era of fatherhood.  But it is not so new. In the colonial era of American history, fathers were integral to the parental team, but eventually industry drove fathers outside the home and parenting roles changed. Now fathers are making a comeback and trying to rediscover their important role in the childrearing. Through exemplary fathers, media, science, and marketing we can change the definition of being an involved father. Use the hashtag #rediscoverfatherhood to add positive images and support the progression of father involvement.
